Waking Up on Time Naturally
Did you know that a person needs on average 7 to 9 hours of sleep every night? People with insomnia have one or more of the following symptoms: difficulty falling asleep; waking up often during the night and having trouble going back to sleep; waking up too early in the morning; feeling tired upon waking
My curiousity was piqued when I heard of a natural remedy callled, Wake Up On Time. Could it help those of us who are feeling tired upon waking up in the morning? The Wake Up On Time pill was developed by a mother of three who had trouble getting out of bed in the morning. Sleep experts are pretty doubtful of the efficacy of Wake Up On Time pill and the Food and Drug Administration does not regulate herbal supplements like the Wake Up on Time Pill;
“I don’t know of anything that indicates that these ingredients are helpful in improving daytime function when taken at night,” warns Dr. Gary Zammit, director of the Sleep Disorder Institute in Manhattan and clinical associate professor at Columbia University. “To my knowledge,” says Zammit, “the best way that we can feel fully refreshed is to ensure that we’ve had an adequate sleep period. There’s no herb or vitamin that can replace that.”
Has anyone tried these pills? If so, we’d be interested in hearing your story. I am really tempted to see if they will help me get through the day especially when I have a major deadline in conjunction with my insomnia acting up. This weekend, I’m headed to see if my local drugstore or Walmart carries it. Will keep you posted if I try it.
